Apasen Chief Executive receives ‘BCA Honour of the Year’ award 

Apasen Chief Executive Mahmud Hasan MBE has been awarded for his outstanding contribution to the British-Bangladeshi diaspora in the UK at the Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA) Awards ceremony. The prestigious event took place at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel on Sunday 27th October 2019, and was hosted by TV presenter Tasmin Lucia Khan and actor Alexis Conran. Mr Hasan was joined on stage by Sir Keir Starmer MP and Mustafa Kamal Yakub to receive the BCA honour of the year.

Mr Mahmud Hasan MBE has been making enormous contribution towards the health and social care sector over the decades and has earned remarkable recognition for his community and social work. While presenting the award to him, BCA mentioned:

“Mahmud Hasan is a man who has been serving and playing a strategic role to look after the well-being and the development of the community. As the Chief Executive of Apasen, he manages the largest British-Bangladeshi led charity, providing a wide range of services to people with special needs in Greater London. He is winning this award for his support and contribution to the British-Bangladeshi community in the UK.”
