Help change the lives of children with learning disabilities
Thank you for considering donating to our Ramadan Appeal for children with disabilities in Bangladesh.
We urgently need your generous donations to continue to fund our local day care centres for poor children with down’s syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, and learning disabilities.
Since 2014, we have been working in partnership with BRAC to establish and successfully operate the country’s first locally accessible day care centres in Sylhet and Dhaka that provide free health and education services for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities (NDDs).
Now entering our fourth year of operations, we are proud to report that more than 125 children are currently attending our five day care centres regularly – supported by trained specialist teachers, care workers, and physiotherapists – to give them the best start in life and maximise their potential for independence. Each centre is open six days a week providing day care of up to four hours for approximately 25 children and their carers.
We continue to be humbled by the generosity of our supporters and the community who every year during the holy month of Ramadan respond to the desperate lack of resources for children with severe learning disabilities in Bangladesh by making a donation.
This project is completely reliant on donations from the public – whether you can spare £5 or £500, we are truly grateful for your support.
Donate today! Just £25 will pay for one month of quality day care for a special child and make the world of difference to their future.
