A delegation of Conservative Friends of Bangladesh, led by the All Party Parliamentary Group (on Bangladesh) Chair Anne Main MP, visited Apasen International Sylhet project on 16 September 2019. The MPs hope that the Special School and Day Centre would make a greater impact on the vulnerable children and young people suffering from multiple disabilities.
Anne Main MP says, ‘I am very impressed with the work Apasen International is doing here. I fully support Apasen International sharing its expertise with local residents in Sylhet, Bangladesh and establishing vital services for the marginalised children and young adults. I believe they will have a positive impact on so many people’s lives – just like they do in the UK.’
