Please join us for Apasen International’s first live fundraising appeal this Thursday from 6pm on ATN Bangla (Sky 827).
We are focusing on raising funds to open a desperately needed local day care centre in the heart of Sylhet Town – close to the homes of more than 100 children with severe learning disabilities, autism, and other special needs. Currently they have no services available to them locally and they are without support.
Through our national partner, BRAC, we will establish a three room centre that acts as both a community school and a health care facility – providing specialised teaching as well as access to daily treatments such as speech and physio therapy that can make an enormous difference in a very short space of time.
Our work is entirely dependent on voluntary contributions. A donation of £240 will pay for a whole year of schooling, therapies and hospital treatment, recreation, and family support for one special child.
