Welcome to the latest edition of the Apasen International Newsletter! In this issue, we are delighted to share the inspiring stories and impactful initiatives. As we approach the close of another impactful year, we are grateful for the tremendous support and dedication that has propelled Apasen International forward in its mission to enhance the lives of vulnerable individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other special needs in both urban and rural communities across Bangladesh.
Since our establishment as an international not-for-profit organisation in 2013, Apasen International has tirelessly collaborated with local partners and stakeholders to address the urgent need for improved health and social care in Bangladesh. Drawing upon the extensive expertise of our sister organisation, Apasen, a prominent diaspora-led charity in the UK with over three decades of experience in the health and social care sector, we have expanded our reach and impact.
Our commitment extends beyond the immediate provision of services; we strive to create a more inclusive society by advocating for the full integration of individuals with disabilities. Through a multifaceted approach encompassing health, education, and poverty reduction initiatives, we work towards reducing discrimination and stigma surrounding disabilities, fostering an environment where every individual can thrive.
In the spirit of collaboration and empowerment, Apasen International remains dedicated to providing information, advice, and support to families and carers. Together, we continue to make strides in transforming the lives of children and adults with disabilities, fostering a brighter and more inclusive future.
As we reflect on the accomplishments of the past year, we express our deepest gratitude to our supporters, partners, and the entire Apasen International community. Your firm commitment has been instrumental in making a positive impact on the lives of those who need it most.
Here’s to a new year filled with continued growth, compassion, and transformative change.
